Lists of 500 detainees killed between 2011- 2013

Zaman al-Wasl obtained official lists of the names of more than 500 martyrs who were detained during the first two and a half years of the revolution. The lists included the names of victims of Arab nationalities.

The lists included the names of detainees who were over 75 years old, one of them on charges of demonstrating, and another without any charges other than being the father of one of the accused.

The names of many detainees were replaced by giving each of them a number only.

The lists also included the names of officers, non-commissioned officers, and conscripts who defected or incited defection from the regime's army.

The lists included the "crime" next to each martyred detainee, meaning the charge against him and the place of death.

In the "crime" column, the phrase "brought during the campaign" on the so-and-so area was repeated, meaning that he was arrested without any charges before dying under torture.

It is noted that charges such as "participating in demonstrations", belonging to the Free Army (opposition), communicating with "armed terrorists", smuggling weapons and smuggling communication devices and other charges were repeated during the interviews that the regime's channels conducted with the detainees, which the Syrians likened to a play.
