Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Friday that his country had sent 500 tons of flour to Syria.
This came in a post on the X platform, in which Zelenskyy explained that they had provided flour with the aim of helping the Syrian people.
He added that 500 tons of Ukrainian flour had been sent to Syria as part of the humanitarian aid program "Grain from Ukraine", which Kyiv is implementing in cooperation with the World Food Program.
The Ukrainian President pointed out that this aid will be delivered to 167,000 people from 33,250 families in the coming weeks. He also expressed his wishes for security and stability for Syria and its people.
