The UNHCR announced on Thursday that more than 115,000 Syrians in countries neighboring Syria have returned to their country after the overthrow of Bashar al-Assad's regime.
The statement by the UN organization said that more than 115,000 people have returned to Syria from Turkey, Jordan and Lebanon since December 8.
It is worth noting that the figures related to the return of Syrians are based on public information published by refugee-hosting countries, communication with immigration departments in Syria, and what the commission and its partners have monitored at border crossings.
