Israeli occupation forces, backed by the Syrian regime, searched military barracks in three villages adjacent to the buffer zone in the southern Quneitra countryside on Wednesday.
The incursion targeted military barracks in the villages of "Al-Asha", "Abu Ghara" and "Mazraat Al-Hiran" near the occupied Syrian Golan Heights, where they were searched and then withdrawn to their positions inside the buffer zone.
Special sources reported to Zaman Al-Wasl that the Israeli occupation forces bulldozed the military points where regime forces were previously stationed, and after the bulldozing operation, the Israeli forces returned to their previous positions.
This operation coincided with intensive flights of Israeli reconnaissance aircraft in the area's airspace, which raised concerns among local residents about a possible escalation in the border area.
No official statements were issued by the Israeli side or the Syrian caretaker government regarding this incursion, which is considered a new violation of the ceasefire agreements.
