General Security releases 360 people in Homs

The Military Operations Department announced today, Sunday, the release of more than 360 people from Homs Central Prison, who were arrested during the recent security campaign in the city, after investigating them and proving that they were not involved in shedding Syrian blood.

Informed sources indicated to Zaman al-Wasl that security operations are still ongoing in the rest of the Syrian governorates, with the aim of pursuing the remnants of the former Bashar al-Assad regime, in conjunction with the continued influx of officers and personnel to settlement centers in various governorates, to hand over their weapons and carry out the required settlements.

Two weeks ago, the General Security Department, in cooperation with the Military Operations Department, launched a large-scale security campaign in the neighborhoods of Homs city, central Syria, with the aim of pursuing the remnants of the defunct regime who refused to hand over their weapons and carry out settlement operations, coinciding with a security campaign in the rest of the Syrian governorates, aiming to control weapons and prevent the spread of chaos.
