The leader of the new Syrian administration, Ahmad al-Sharaa, met on Sunday with a Norwegian delegation headed by Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide in the capital Damascus, the official news agency reported.
SANA indicated that the meeting brought together al-Sharaa and Foreign Minister Asaad al-Sheibani with the Norwegian delegation, as this meeting comes within a series of visits by Arab, regional and international delegations to Syria with the aim of learning about the new administration's vision for the next stage in the country.
Although the details of the meeting were not revealed, these diplomatic moves indicate growing international interest in the vision of the new Syrian administration and its plans to restore stability and reconstruction, after declaring control over Damascus and ending the era of the defunct regime.
