Two mass graves were exhumed in the town of Aqraba near the Sayyida Zeinab area south of Damascus, one of which contains the remains of at least 15 people, while work is still underway to extract more remains from the second grave.
According to local sources, the area where the two graves were found was previously a center for Iranian militias, and is considered a special security zone for them, which raises questions about the identity of the civilian victims and the circumstances of their burial in these sites.
