A "pure" Baathist discusses constitutional construction at the Syrian National Dialogue Conference

"It's very simple; whoever defended the regime of killing and torture to the end must be politically isolated under a law that prevents him from participating in any government position or national conference for at least five years.

Several countries did this after the fall of dictatorships, and the number of their dead did not constitute 10% of the Syrian dead, and they had a few cases of death under torture. So how about Syria, where hundreds of thousands of women, men and children were killed under torture to death?

Some activists denounce the exposure of violations by war criminals participating in the National Dialogue Conference, which began on Monday.

Is it reasonable to have a national dialogue with those who supported the killer and fought with him? Can we be sure that they will not turn against the revolution and the national dialogue if they hear a rumor that Maher al-Assad arrived in Qardaha by parachute!

We seek to preserve the revolution and its gains, for fear of a counter-revolution that will return us all to Sednaya Prison, the Palestine Branch and the Khatib Branch.

We just want a five-year break from Assad's supporters, until We can build the country and enact laws without small or large counter-revolutions...

Is this a seditious demand? Is this an unjust demand?

If war criminals infiltrate the state's joints, they will destroy the state, the national dialogue, and even the martyrs' graves.

In solidarity with the victims who were killed under torture, bullets, chemical attacks, and under the rubble of their safe homes that were bombed by Assad and his supporters, we must not engage in dialogue with Assad's henchmen.

The above photo is of Ahmad Khalif Hamed, from the Assad Baath Party, who has a long history of supporting the regime and the killing militia; he is participating in the National Dialogue Conference (Constitutional Building - Economic Principles).

Do you expect him to support building a national economy?
