Israeli warplanes launched two airstrikes targeting two military sites in the southern countryside of central Homs province, central Syria, on Tuesday evening.
The first airstrike targeted a military site between the villages of Shinshar, near the town of al-Qusayr, and Shamsin, near the industrial Hasiya district, in the southern Homs countryside. The site is believed to house an air defense battalion.
The second airstrike targeted a military site in the village of al-Jadidah al-Sharqiya, located in the southeastern countryside of Homs.
It is worth noting that on November 13, 2024, Israeli warplanes targeted trucks and weapons depots belonging to the Lebanese Hezbollah militia in the Shinshar area of the southern Homs countryside, destroying the warehouses and causing deaths and injuries.
