Qardaha residents hand over dozens of suicide drones to Public Security

Residents of the town of Qardaha in the coastal Latakia province handed over dozens of suicide drones to the General Security Directorate on Tuesday, as part of efforts to promote social peace.

This came after a meeting between General Security representatives and dignitaries and members of the local Social Peace Committee, according to an official statement from the Syrian Ministry of Interior.

The statement stated, "As a result of the meeting held in the town of Qardaha in Latakia, the residents of the area handed over dozens of suicide drones and military equipment belonging to the former regime to the relevant authorities."

It added that this step contributed to strengthening confidence and stability, noting that similar initiatives are ongoing in several areas of the country as part of efforts to enhance security and end chaos.
