Civil Defense extinguishes fires in Damascus Aleppo and Homs

Syrian Civil Defense teams responded on Sunday to four fires that broke out in various areas, including the governorates of Damascus, Homs, and Aleppo. They were able to control the flames and prevent them from spreading, with no injuries reported.

In Homs Governorate, a fire of unknown cause broke out in an abandoned house in the city of Rastan. Firefighters rushed to the scene and were able to extinguish the blaze after preventing it from spreading to neighboring houses.

In Aleppo, a fire broke out in a residential house in the city of Al-Bab, east of the governorate, due to an electrical short circuit in the internal power grid. The fire caused significant material damage inside the house.

Another fire broke out in fuel waste on the Manbij-Al-Bab road, east of Aleppo. Firefighters faced difficulty controlling the blaze due to its rapid ignition and the difficulty of access.

In the Damascus countryside, teams responded to a large fire that broke out in vehicles loaded with fuel tankers in the city of Al-Rahiba, east of the Al-Qatifah area. The teams were able to contain the fire and control it before the tankers exploded, in a response described as swift and effective.

Civil Defense teams emphasized that these incidents highlight the need to adhere to public safety measures, particularly regarding the storage of flammable materials and the maintenance of electrical networks within homes.
