The exchange rate of the Syrian pound against the dollar reversed its course on Thursday, after a significant decline over the past two days.
The Damascus dollar had risen 350 Syrian pounds during trading on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The Damascus dollar lost 200 Syrian pounds during trading on the fifth day, closing at 11,050 Syrian pounds for buying and 11,150 Syrian pounds for selling.
The dollar recorded the same or similar rates in most Syrian cities.
The euro ranged between 12,570 Syrian pounds for buying and 12,670 Syrian pounds for selling.
The Turkish lira exchange rate against the Syrian pound ranged between 288 Syrian pounds for buying and 293 Syrian pounds for selling.
The Turkish lira exchange rate against the dollar ranged between 37.07 Turkish liras for buying and 38.07 Turkish liras for selling.
