Aleppo Governor Azzam al-Gharib, via the X platform, praised the heroic role played by the Ministry of Interior and the Intelligence Service in confronting a terrorist attempt aimed at destabilizing the security and stability of the province.
Al-Gharib explained that security forces were able to arrest members of a terrorist cell that was preparing to carry out serious acts of sabotage in the city, noting that the operation was successful despite the great sacrifices that accompanied it.
According to the governor, the operation resulted in the martyrdom of one security member, while two others were wounded.
Al-Gharib offered his deepest condolences to the family of the martyr and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
The Aleppo governor affirmed that these sacrifices "will remain a badge of honor on the chests of the nation's sons," reiterating his pledge to continue supporting security personnel in their noble mission of preserving the country's security and stability.
