The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates announced the reception of an official delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in the Syrian Arab Republic. During the visit, a memorandum of understanding was signed to enhance bilateral cooperation.
In an official statement, the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs explained that the visit witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the field of training diplomatic cadres and employees of public sector institutions in both countries, as part of joint efforts to develop institutional capacities and strengthen technical partnerships.
The memorandum was signed between the Jordanian Diplomatic Institute, affiliated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the Syrian Diplomatic Institute, affiliated with the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.
During the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi affirmed the strong fraternal relations between Jordan and Syria, emphasizing the two countries' keenness to enhance joint cooperation in various fields, in line with the Jordanian royal directives and the Syrian presidential directives.
Safadi noted that Jordanian-Syrian relations are based on a long history of shared ties, expressing his aspiration for fruitful partnerships that serve the interests of the two brotherly peoples.
