Coalition's Ambassador in Qatar Nizar Alheraki revealed the embassy intention in renewing the passports of the Syrian residents in Qatar through the upcoming days.
The Ambassador of the National Coalition for Opposition and Revolutionary Forces to Qatar, said to provide a plan for the renewal of Syrian passports in Qatar. The suggested plan will be delivered to the Arab League and the Gulf Cooperation Council to get it approved. If so, it would be a big step in order to help Syrians who got their passports expired.
Alheraki pointed out that the embassy will provide an effective way to renew Syrian passports, regardless of their place of residence, stressing that the Syrian embassy in Qatar is doing its best to provide its services to the Syrians.
In this context, the Embassy page on Facebook posted the starting date of ratification that will be in May 12.
The Ambassador noted to ratification requirements in case the document was issued in Qatar are:
- The original document certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the seal of the original and certified copies to be ratified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with an original stamp.
- A clear picture of the passport of the owner of the certificate or document (data show a full passport number and expiry date) and a copy of his identity card.
In addition, if the document was issued from Syria:
- Attend two witnesses, personally, and
sign the authenticity of the document whose ratification is required.
- A clear copy of witnesses' passports that
shows their passport number, expiry date and a copy of his identity card.
Any document issued by the Embassy; also, needs the ratification of the Qatari foreign ministry to be adopted inside or outside the State of Qatar
