Eleven buses carrying 492 civilians departed the city of Sweida on Wednesday evening, passing through the city of Busra al-Sham, under the supervision of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).
An official source in the Red Crescent's Disaster Management Unit in Daraa indicated that this convoy is part of ongoing efforts to secure the evacuation of civilians from areas affected by the violence in Sweida, where various forms of support and care were provided to the passengers.
The convoy also included three bodies. The source emphasized the ongoing evacuation and facilitation of civilian passage, in coordination with relevant local and international authorities.
Government agencies, in cooperation with local and international partners, continue to work to meet the urgent humanitarian needs of the Druze-majority governorate, ensure aid reaches affected families, and facilitate movement in and out.
