Latakia: Attack on a military vehicle, no casualties

The Syrian Ministry of Defense stated that a military vehicle was attacked by groups of remnants of the ousted regime in the countryside of Latakia province, western Syria, on Thursday night. No casualties were reported, according to the state-run Al-Ikhbariya channel.

The ministry explained that attacks by remnants of the regime had escalated over the past 72 hours, targeting army forces in the Latakia and Tartous countrysides.

The Ministry of Defense affirmed its continued commitment to protecting all components of the Syrian people and preserving civil peace. It warned these groups against attempts to destabilize security and stability on the Syrian coast, stressing that it would not tolerate any targeting of army forces or civilians.
