Saudi Arabia receives Syrian investment delegation

In continuation of the directives of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman to deepen and develop the partnership between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Syrian Arab Republic, a Syrian delegation headed by Minister of Economy and Industry Dr. Mohammad Nidal Al-Shaar and representatives from both sides will visit Riyadh on Monday. This official visit reflects the two brotherly countries' commitment to building bridges of economic cooperation and enhancing regional integration.

The visit builds on the outcomes of the Saudi-Syrian Investment Forum, held last month under the patronage of Syrian President Ahmed Al-Shara, with the participation of more than 100 Saudi companies and 20 government agencies from the Kingdom.

The agreements signed during the Saudi-Syrian Forum included 47 investment projects in vital sectors, with total investments exceeding 24 billion riyals. These agreements cover real estate, infrastructure, finance, communications and information technology, energy, industry, tourism, trade and investment, health, and others, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

This visit underscores the Kingdom's commitment and interest in strengthening economic partnerships with sister countries in the region, enhancing its global investment role and supporting the achievement of sustainable development goals and the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
