First anniversary of the launch of military operation that liberated Syria

Brigadier General Hassan Abdel Ghani stated that the first anniversary of the "Deterring Aggression" battle marks a significant milestone, confirming the end of the era of "injustice and terrorism" and the return of security to areas affected by bombing and displacement.

He noted that the Syrian Arab Army "is protecting every inch of the country today," calling on Syrians to rally around it and participate in reconstruction.

In a speech delivered on this occasion, Abdel Ghani explained that the passage of a year since the start of the battle is evidence of what he considered "achieved victories" and the return of displaced persons to their homes, emphasizing the armed forces' continued operations throughout Syria.

He added that the resilience of the Syrian people over the past year reflects, in his words, a collective will to restore stability, pointing out that the current phase requires "unity to rebuild the nation and achieve development."

It is worth noting that the "Deterring Aggression" battle began on this day last year and concluded on December 8th with the declaration of "the liberation of the country from the defunct regime," as stated in his speech.
