US congratulates Syria for interdicting weapons shipments intended for Lebanese Hezbollah

The US military congratulated Syria on Friday for recently interdicting multiple weapons shipments intended for Lebanese Hezbollah.

“The United States and our regionals partners have a shared interest in ensuring the disarmament of Lebanese Hezbollah and in preserving peace and stability across the Middle East,” CENTCOM Commander Adm. Brad Cooper said.
