President al-Sharaa attends victory parade in Damascus

President Ahmed al-Sharaa, accompanied by several ministers and senior officials, attended the military parade organized by the Ministry of Defense on Monday morning to commemorate the first anniversary of the victory and liberation. The parade took place on the Mezzeh highway in Damascus.

According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the parade began on the Mezzeh highway and proceeded towards Umayyad Square, ending at Customs Square. Units of the armed forces participated, accompanied by helicopters flying overhead.

Thousands of citizens lined the parade grounds, waving Syrian flags and chanting slogans expressing their joy at the anniversary of the liberation and the victory of the Syrian revolution.
