Damascus (SANA)- President Ahmad al-Sharaa received on Monday a high-level Turkish delegation at the People’s Palace in Damascus. The delegation included Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Defense Minister Yasar Güler, and Head of the National Intelligence Organization Ibrahim Kalın.
During the meeting, President al-Sharaa and the visiting delegation discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations and reviewed the latest regional developments.
Syria’s foreign minister Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani, Defense Minister Major General Murhaf Abu Qasra, and Chief of the General Intelligence apparatus, Hussein al-Salama attended the meeting.
Syrian-Turkish relations have been steadily growing since the country’s liberation from the previous regime, with both governments committed to strengthening cooperation in all areas to serve the interests of both peoples and nations.
