The Syrian Ministry of Defense's Media and Communications Department announced that the Syrian Arab Army General Staff issued an order to cease targeting SDF fire positions in Aleppo after neutralizing several of them and narrowing the area of engagement away from civilians.
The department told SANA that the Syrian Arab Army fulfilled its responsibilities to protect and defend the people today, refraining from any attempt to alter the lines of control and merely responding to the sources of fire.
Several neighborhoods in Aleppo city witnessed attacks today by the SDF using mortars, rocket launchers, and heavy machine guns, resulting in the deaths of two civilians and injuries to 15 others. Internal security forces worked to evacuate civilians and ensure their safety following these attacks.
