Israel pounds Tal al-Ahmar al-Sharqi in southern Quneitra

Israeli occupation forces targeted the eastern Tal al-Ahmar area in the southern Quneitra countryside with three shells this Friday morning. The shells were fired from an occupation forces' position in western Tal al-Ahmar and were accompanied by gunfire from medium and light machine guns. No casualties were reported among civilians.

The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported that Israeli occupation warplanes continue to fly in the skies of Quneitra province.

These aggressions are part of a series of repeated violations. Yesterday, occupation forces fired live ammunition towards civilians near the village of Al-'Asha while they were foraging for mushrooms, in an attempt to force them to leave the area. Furthermore, just two days ago, they assaulted women and children between the villages of Al-'Adnaniyah and Ruwayhinah by launching smoke bombs.

In a related context, the occupation forces have expanded their positions in western Tal al-Ahmar by raising earth berms and reinforcing military posts. This coincides with an incursion by a patrol consisting of two "Humvee" vehicles into several villages in the southern Quneitra countryside, where they conducted searches of passersby and obstructed the movement of residents.
