(Zaman Al Wasl)- Rebels of Damascus suburbs lauded the news affirm killing one the most brutal regime army commanders, who committed war crimes in Homs.
Rebels have ambushed General Mahmoud Abou Arraj, commander of Brigade 121 near Tal Merie village in Damascus countryside, rebel twitter feeds reported.
Arraj, 52, was born in al-Maa’rra in Idlib province, from a Sunni family.
Activists said many Sunni commanders who refused to defect, preferring to stay in the Alawite-dominated army have made a reputation as brutal and savage fighters.
