Aleppo (SANA) Buses have started entering the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood in Aleppo to transport members of SDF organization to areas in northeastern Syria, SANA reporter said.
The move follows a ceasefire announced Thursday night by the Syrian Ministry of Defense in the neighborhoods of Sheikh Maqsoud, Ashrafieh, and Bani Zaid. The ceasefire aims to end military activity in the areas and pave the way for the restoration of law and state institutions.
Under the ceasefire, armed groups in the three neighborhoods were instructed to leave starting at 3:00 a.m., with a deadline of 9:00 a.m. Friday. Departing armed elements are allowed to carry only light personal weapons, and the Syrian Arab Army will escort them to ensure safe passage to northeastern Syria.
