The Aleppo Media Directorate reported that the SDF targeted the Aleppo Governorate building with a drone during a press conference attended by Aleppo Governor Azzam al-Gharib, Information Minister Hamza al-Mustafa, and Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Hind Qabawat.
The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) quoted the Directorate as saying that this attack reflects "the criminal behavior of the SDF in an attempt to silence the media and prevent the truth from reaching the public."
The Directorate explained that targeting government institutions and media and medical personnel comes within the context of "the organization's state of weakness and heavy losses, and the collapse of its militia system, following the crimes it committed against civilians in Aleppo."
The Directorate strongly condemned this attack, emphasizing that the SDF's attempts to mislead public opinion, spread rumors, and target the media will not deter the state from continuing to fulfill its duty to protect citizens and reveal the truth, nor will they affect efforts to enhance security and stability in the city.
