Syrian security arrests commanders in "Coastal Shield" militia

The Internal Security Directorate in the northern countryside of Latakia Governorate, in cooperation with the Counter-Terrorism Branch, arrested two leaders of a criminal cell known as "Lieutenant Abbas," affiliated with the so-called "Coastal Shield Brigade."

The Ministry of Interior stated in a post on its official channels today, Monday, that following a series of precise security operations, the Internal Security Directorate in the northern countryside of Latakia Governorate, in cooperation with the Counter-Terrorism Branch, arrested two leaders of a terrorist cell known as "Lieutenant Abbas," affiliated with the "Coastal Shield Brigade." The most prominent among those arrested were Jaafar Ali Aliya, nicknamed Lieutenant Abbas, in addition to Rashid Ghiath Aliya and Ali Abdul Sattar Khalilou.
