Syrian army announces full control on Deir Hafer, Maskanah in Aleppo countryside

The Syrian Arab Army has already begun deployment in the city of Deir Hafer in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.

“We announce the complete establishment of our military control over the city of Deir Hafer in the eastern countryside of Aleppo,” The Operations command of the Syrian Arab Army to SANA on Saturday.

The command added that the Syrian Arab Army forces are working to secure the city and sweep it of mines and remnants of war.



It affirmed that the army has begun advancing toward the areas of Maskanah and Dibsi Afnan.

Later, the Operations Command of the Syrian Arab Army announced that its forces have expanded control over an area extending approximately 10 kilometers east of Deir Hafer city in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.

In a statement to SANA, the Command said that army units took control of al-Jarrah Military Airport and secured 14 villages and towns east of Deir Hafer, while facilitating the withdrawal of more than 200 members of SDF organization with their weapons.

The Command added that units of the Syrian Arab Army have reached Maskanah city east of Aleppo, noting that hundreds of SDF members have surrendered to the army.

In the same context, the army command announced the complete establishment of control over the city of Maskanah in eastern Aleppo, adding “our forces have begun advancing toward the town of Dibsi Afnan.”

Afterwards, the Syrian Army command told SANA that the army forces have entered the town of Dibsi Afnan in the western countryside of Raqqa.
