Following their deployment in the city of Deir Hafer and securing all its neighborhoods, units of the Ministry of Interior began entering the city of Maskana in the eastern Aleppo countryside. They deployed throughout the city's streets and vital facilities to reinforce security and impose order, contributing to the stability of daily life for residents. This comes after the withdrawal of the SDF and the handover of the city to the Syrian Arab Army.

In a statement published today, Saturday, on its Telegram channel, the Ministry stated that this measure is being implemented to protect civilians and secure vital installations, in full coordination with the Syrian Arab Army forces deployed in the city. This will ensure stability and restore peace and security to the residents.
Earlier today, the Syrian Arab Army established control over the cities of Deir Hafer and Maskana, as well as 34 villages and towns in the eastern Aleppo countryside. Hundreds of SDF fighters surrendered to the army, and the safe passage of more than 200 SDF members was secured.
