The Syrian–Uzbek Business Forum, held in Bukhara city on Friday, focused on finding opportunities for trade, investment, and economic partnerships between the two countries, bringing together over 200 business leaders and representatives from both countries, alongside government officials.
The participants highlighted the importance of regional partnerships to accelerate investment projects and facilitate knowledge exchange, according to SANA.
Chairmen of Syrian chambers of commerce showcased the industrial, agricultural, and commercial potentials of their provinces, emphasizing opportunities in manufacturing, food processing, agriculture, export, and logistics sectors.
The forum also addressed mechanisms for establishing regular institutional trade dialogue and launching joint projects, paving the way for a more substantive phase of Syrian–Uzbek economic cooperation.
