30-truck aid convoy enters Sweida, second in a week

A humanitarian aid convoy of 30 trucks carrying flour, medical supplies, vaccines and fuel entered the southern city of Sweida on Tuesday, local authorities said.

In a statement, the Syrian Health Ministry said the convoy was dispatched with support from the Syrian Arab Red Crescent and the World Food Programme, in coordination with Sweida governorate.

On Feb. 11, a separate convoy of 31 trucks delivered 503 tons of flour, food and diesel fuel to support bakeries and meet basic needs, according to officials. The operation was coordinated between Sweida governorate and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, with backing from the World Food Programme.
