The Ministry of Interior, represented by the Directorate of Airport and Border Security, has assumed security supervision duties at Qamishli Airport in Hasaka Province, as part of the implementation of the agreement between the Syrian Government and the “SDF”.
The Ministry stated that the handover process comes within the framework of restoring full state authority over vital facilities and enhancing security procedures at airports and border crossings.
It added that this step is part of ongoing coordination aimed at maintaining stability and ensuring the functioning of civil aviation services.
