Israeli occupation forces on Thursday detained four civilians, including a child, from the village of Breiqa in the southern countryside of Quneitra while they were herding sheep.
SANA’s reporter in Quneitra said the individuals were taken into the occupied Syrian Golan, with no information available about their fate.
The incident comes two days after Israeli forces detained two children in farmlands west of the town of Ruweihina in southern Quneitra.
Israeli forces have carried out repeated incursions, arrests and land bulldozing in southern Syria, in violation of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement.
Syria has repeatedly demanded the withdrawal of Israeli forces from its territory, stating that all measures taken by Israel in southern Syria are null and void under international law. Damascus has also called on the international community to assume its responsibilities and press for a full Israeli withdrawal from southern Syria.
