Israeli occupation forces conduct incursions into villages in northern Quneitra

Israeli forces carried out several incursions Sunday into villages in northern Quneitra in southern Syria.

SANA’s correspondent in Quneitra said a convoy of 14 Israeli military vehicles entered the villages of Jabata al-Khashab and Tranja, patrolling the surrounding areas.

Another force of six vehicles advanced from Abu al-Ghithar toward al-Muqraz, passing through Saidah al-Golan before setting up a checkpoint on the road linking al-Muqraz with Ain Dhikr in western Daraa.

On Saturday, Israeli forces also moved into Tal al-Dhuhur near Jbata al-Khashab, as well as the Yarmouk Basin in western Daraa.

Israel continues to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through repeated incursions into southern Syria and attacks against civilians, including raids, arrests and land bulldozing.

Syria has repeatedly called for the withdrawal of Israeli forces from its territory, stressing that all measures taken by Israel in southern Syria are null and void and have no legal effect under international law.
