Syria, Jordan, Türkiye ink major plan to boost regional connectivity

Amman, Apr. 7 (SANA) A trilateral meeting held in Amman brought together Syrian Minister of Transport Yarub Badr, Jordanian Minister of Transport Nidal al-Qatamin, and Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, resulting in the signing of agreements and memorandums of understanding to enhance cooperation across land, rail, air, and maritime transport sectors.

The agreements aim to strengthen regional connectivity, facilitate the movement of passengers and goods, and improve the efficiency of logistics services and infrastructure among the three countries.

The implementation of the agreements is set to begin immediately and will continue for a period of three years, during which outcomes and progress will be regularly evaluated to ensure effective results on the ground.

The trilateral cooperation reflects a strategic step toward advancing regional integration and supporting economic development through coordinated transport networks and modernized infrastructure.
