Israeli occupation shelling targets western Daraa countryside

Israeli occupation forces shelled the vicinity of Jamlah village in the Yarmouk Basin area in western Daraa countryside with several artillery rounds on Friday, one of which landed in agricultural land northwest of the village.

SANA’s correspondent in Daraa reported that the shelling caused material damage to farmland without reports of human casualties, noting that the attack triggered fear and tension among residents amid repeated incidents.

Areas in western Daraa countryside, particularly the Yarmouk Basin near the disengagement line, have witnessed recurring attacks by Israeli occupation forces targeting sites and surrounding areas, in violation of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement.
