A force of the Israeli occupation advanced on Sunday into southern Quneitra countryside and set up a temporary checkpoint to search passersby before later withdrawing from the area.
SANA’s correspondent reported that the force, consisting of three military vehicles, advanced toward the road linking the villages of Ruwaihina and Bir Ajam in southern Quneitra countryside.
The occupation troops set up a temporary checkpoint, where they searched civilians passing through the area, before later withdrawing without reports of arrests.
The Israeli occupation continues its violations and breaches of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through repeated incursions into southern Syria, in addition to carrying out raids, arrests and land bulldozing affecting local residents.
