Israeli army arrests civilian in southern Quneitra countryside

Israeli occupation forces arrested a shepherd on Friday during a military incursion into the village of Saida al-Hanout in the southern Quneitra countryside.

The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported that an Israeli force consisting of six military vehicles entered the vicinity of the village and intercepted several shepherds before arresting one of them. SANA described this as part of the occupation's policy of harassment against the area's residents.

SANA added that the force continued its incursion towards the village of al-Razaniya, where it established a temporary checkpoint at the village's junction leading to Saida al-Golan, before later withdrawing.

This incident follows a similar Israeli incursion into the vicinity of Saida al-Hanout last Tuesday, amid ongoing Israeli violations of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement in southern Syria through incursions, raids, arrests, and land confiscation.
