Damascus, July 2 (SANA) President Ahmad al-Sharaa held a phone call on Wednesday with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, during which the two leaders discussed the fraternal ties between their countries and ways to strengthen cooperation across various fields.
The two sides reviewed opportunities to expand cooperation in the development, economic, and investment sectors in line with the development priorities of both countries and their shared interests.
The two presidents reaffirmed their commitment to advancing Syrian-Emirati relations to broader horizons, in a manner that supports development and prosperity and benefits the peoples of both countries.
They also exchanged views on a number of regional issues of mutual interest, foremost among them developments in the Middle East and ongoing efforts to promote security, stability, and peace across the region in the interests of all its peoples.
