Syrian authorities seize 832,000 Captagon pills in smuggling attempt from Lebanon

Damascus Countryside, July 1 (SANA) Syria’s Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), in coordination with the Internal Security Command in Damascus Countryside, foiled an attempt to smuggle a large shipment of narcotics from Lebanese territory into the Nabk farms area following precise surveillance and security monitoring.

According to the DEA, the operation resulted in the arrest of one suspect and the seizure of 832,000 Captagon pills.

Authorities confirmed that the necessary legal report was filed and the detainee, along with the confiscated substances, was referred to the competent judiciary to complete the legal proceedings.
