Israeli occupation forces carry out new incursions into Quneitra and Daraa

Israeli occupation forces carried out new incursions into southern Syria on Saturday, advancing into the Tal al-Ahmar area in Quneitra province and dropping sound bombs on a road in western Daraa province.

According to SANA’s reporter, five military vehicles advanced from western Tal al-Ahmar in Quneitra toward the summit of eastern Tal al-Ahmar.

In western Daraa, Israeli forces dropped sound bombs from drones on the Abidin–Maariyah road. No casualties or material damage were reported.

The latest developments came amid continued Israeli military incursions in southern Syria since December 2024. On Friday, an Israeli force advanced toward the Ruwayhina Dam in central Quneitra, while another force of four military vehicles and a bulldozer entered the vicinity of Abidin village in the Yarmouk Basin and removed rocks blocking a road leading to the al-Arda area.

Israel continues to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through repeated incursions into southern Syria, as well as raids, arrests, land bulldozing and shelling.

Syria has consistently called for the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from its territory and stressed that all Israeli measures in southern Syria are null and void under international law. Damascus has repeatedly called on the international community to assume its responsibilities and compel Israel to withdraw fully from southern Syria.
