Documents refute Jouma brothers' account of involvement in Tadamon massacre

An informed source stated that Mohsen Hamdo Jumaa, the father of Yazan and Youssef, possessed two security cards. The first, signed by National Defense Forces commander Fadi Saqr, specified the type of weapon (automatic) and its serial number. The second, more dangerous card allowed him to bypass security checkpoints in Damascus and its surrounding countryside while carrying his weapon.

The source, who provided the documents to Zaman al-Wasl, confirmed that the two brothers also possessed the same cards, which were automatically renewed until their escape from Syria.

The brothers claimed in a program broadcast by Syria Now that they were merely leaking Tadamon massacre  videos and had not committed any crime, and that their father was a civilian who, like them, was forcibly conscripted into the National Defense Forces.
