Daraa, July 19 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces entered the Wadi al-Raqad area in the Yarmouk Basin of western Daraa on Sunday before withdrawing after conducting movements inside the area.
SANA’s reporter in Daraa said the force consisted of two military vehicles.
Earlier on Sunday, Israeli forces entered the village of al-Samdaniyah al-Sharqiyah in the northern Quneitra countryside and fired several shells near the town of al-Hamidiyah and the city of al-Salam, with no casualties reported.
Israel has continued to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through repeated incursions into southern Syria, as well as raids, arrests, land bulldozing and shelling targeting civilians.
Syria has repeatedly called for the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from Syrian territory, stressing that all Israeli measures are null and void under international law and carry no legal effect. It has also urged the international community to uphold its responsibilities and compel Israel to fully withdraw from southern Syria.
