Thirty-five people were killed and 46 others injured in road accidents and fires across Syria during the past 24 hours, the Syrian Civil Defense, operating under the Ministry of Emergency and Disaster Management, said on Sunday.
In a statement posted on its official Telegram channel, the Civil Defense said its teams responded to 25 road accidents, which resulted in 35 fatalities and 45 injuries. First aid was provided at the scene before the injured were transferred to hospitals for treatment. Rescue teams also secured the affected sites and cleared the roads.
