Damascus (SANA) Three people were killed and 19 others injured in road accidents and fires across Syria over the past 24 hours, the Syrian Civil Defense said Monday.
Civil Defense teams responded to 22 road accidents that killed three people and injured 18 others, according to a statement posted on Telegram. Rescue teams provided first aid, transported the injured to hospitals and secured the accident sites.
Civil Defense teams also responded to 103 fires involving fields and agricultural crops, homes, shops, grass, trees, garbage and electrical wires.
One person was injured in the fires and taken to Al-Mujtahid Hospital in Damascus after receiving first aid. Other damage was limited to property.
Last Wednesday, 29 people were injured in road accidents and fires across several Syrian governorates, according to the Civil Defense.
