First Lady Latifa al-Droubi tours Damascus International Fair

Damascus, Aug. 30 (SANA) First Lady Latifa al-Droubi toured Damascus International Fair on Sunday at Damascus Fairgrounds, and reviewed several pavilions showcasing a wide range of activities and contributions featured in the event.

Al-Droubi visited the National Innovation and Invention Exhibition within the Ministry of Economy and Industry pavilion, where she inspected models of participating innovations and inventions. She also toured the Ministry of Awqaf pavilion and the Handicrafts one, learning about the exhibits and products presented by both sectors.

The First Lady highlighted the importance of the Fair as a platform for showcasing Syrian capabilities and potential, strengthening Syria’s openness to the world, and creating broader opportunities for cooperation, partnership, and investment.

The 63rd edition of Damascus International Fair continues until September 4, with the participation of nearly 1,000 entities representing around 60 countries, including local, Arab, and international companies, ministries, public institutions, chambers of commerce, business councils, and investment and service organizations.
