Israeli occupation forces targeted the vicinity of Bat al-Wardah hill near the town of Beit Jinn in western rural Damascus with artillery fire on Friday, with no reports of casualties. The shelling also struck historical sites and buildings.
The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported that the shells fired by the occupation forces landed in the vicinity of the hill, noting that the shelling followed an earlier artillery attack on the area surrounding Beit Jinn.
The Israeli occupation continues its violations of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through repeated incursions into southern Syria, raids on civilian homes and arrests, land razing, and attacks using artillery and other weapons.
