Israeli occupation forces targeted the vicinity of the village of Turanja in the northern countryside of Quneitra today, Monday, with several artillery shells.
The SANA news agency reported that four artillery shells landed on Al-Hamriyah Hill, near the village; there were no reports of casualties.
Earlier this month, on September 20, occupation forces had targeted the area surrounding the town of Al-Rafid in the southern Quneitra countryside with four artillery shells—which landed in agricultural lands southeast of the town—as well as the woods near the village of Bir Ajam with three shells. No casualties were reported in those incidents.
Israeli occupation forces continue to violate the 1974 Disengagement of Forces Agreement through repeated incursions into southern Syria, raids on civilian homes, arrests, land leveling, and attacks involving artillery fire and other means.
