Riyadh, Oct. 6 (SANA) President Ahmad al-Sharaa met Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in Riyadh on Tuesday, with the two sides discussing bilateral relations, regional developments and issues of mutual interest.
The meeting, attended by Foreign and Expatriates Minister Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani, focused on ways to develop cooperation between the two countries in a manner that serves their shared interests and contributes to regional security and stability.
President al-Sharaa arrived in Riyadh earlier Tuesday for an official visit and was received upon arrival by Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Riyadh Region. He was accompanied by Minister al-Shaibani.
The visit comes as part of efforts to strengthen Syrian-Saudi relations and advance cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting follows continued contacts between Damascus and Riyadh, with the two sides previously discussing bilateral cooperation and regional developments.
